Adoptions

Adoption

Congratulations! You’re ready to become a new pet owner. Or maybe you’re extending your pet family. Whatever the case, we are here to support you every step of the way. At the clinic, we post information about lost pets on the bulletin board. Brown County Humane Society provides shelter for many wonderful pets looking for a forever home. They also offer a program for Seniors looking to adopt.

Foster

You’re a softy for animals in need, but maybe it’s not quite right for you to take on another furry friend permanently just yet. Did you know that you can foster pets until another loving situation can be arranged? Corinne T. Smith Animal Center extends its safe haven for lost and stray animals through its foster program. You can go to the shelter to fill out a Foster Application in person, send an email to [email protected] or give them a call at (325) 646-061.

Lost and Found

The worst feeling is the realization that your cat or dog has wandered too far from home. We do what we can to help you locate your furry friend. At the clinic, we update a bulletin board with information regarding lost animals. The Corinne T. Smith Animal Center Facebook page is another great resource in the Brown County area.

One of the most effective ways to reconnect with your pet is making sure they are clearly identified through collars, identification tags, or microchips. While collars and tags can fall off, microchips remain with your dog wherever they go. When located, vets and animal shelters can scan your dog for quick and easy identification. Give us a call to discuss if this is the best option for your pet!
